Champions Oncology has been attentively monitoring the impact of the novel Coronavirus (Covid-19) on our daily internal operations. Our priority is the well-being of our employees and the animals in our care, while also ensuring everyone stays healthy. Champions Oncology is working to manage the potential impact of the situation on our business and also ensure continuity to our customers externally. Our Executive Leadership Team is meeting frequently to evaluate the global circumstances and provide information and resources needed to manage the situation within our company as effectively as possible. Here are some actions that we are taking now to mitigate the effects on our business and in turn, to you our customers:
Existing business continuity plans have been updated for pandemic preparedness.
Critical animal care activities are being maintained throughout any employee absenteeism that may occur during this outbreak.
An additional 2 months of operational supplies have been ordered to cover any supply chain issues that could arise, to ensure client projects are completed on-time, every time.
Evaluating business continuity plans to ensure a healthy and safe working environment for all Champions Oncology employees.
Communicating internally the importance of fundamental personal hygiene practices (i.e. hand washing, etc.).
Sick policies and remote work opportunities are being considered where applicable.
Non-essential travel has been strictly limited to local meetings and small group events.
