Mastering ADC Model Selection and Navigating Resistance

   October 29, 2026 | 4pm GMT | 11am EST | 8am PT

Antibody-drug conjugates are moving fast, and so is the science behind choosing the right model to develop them. Target expression alone doesn't tell the full story as tumors vary in target density within themselves and across patients, and even a well-selected model can eventually face resistance.

This two-part webinar walks through both halves of that challenge. Part 1 looks at how to move beyond target density, building model selection around real antigen heterogeneity so the model you choose reflects the biology you're targeting. Part 2 will discuss how ADC-resistant and ADC-exposed models get characterized, and why resistance data should be treated as a differentiator in your development strategy.

Whether you're early in target selection or already working through resistance in the clinic, you'll come away with a practical view of how translational model data can inform your next step.

What You'll Learn:

  • Why target density alone can be misleading, and how antigen heterogeneity should factor into model selection
  • How expression-confirmed model selection narrows the field before a study begins
  • How ADC-resistant and ADC-exposed models are characterized, and what that data can tell you
  • Why resistance findings are a differentiator for your program, not just a caveat to work around

Meet Our Speakers

michael-boiceMarkus Hippich

Associate Director, Scientific Engagement and Data Insights, Champions Oncology

Markus Hippich brings together translational science and commercial strategy in oncology drug development. Since joining Champions Oncology in 2022, he has moved from business development into his current role as Associate Director, Scientific Engagement and Data Insights, where he bridges business development and clients through evidence-based scientific guidance, study design consultancy, and genomic data curation across the company's TumorGraft (patient-derived xenograft) platform.

Dr. Hippich began his career in oncology-focused pharmaceutical research in Munich before spending six years as a researcher at Helmholtz Zentrum München, including a doctoral project on the genetics and immunology of autoimmune disease and a research exchange at Columbia University. He holds a PhD from the Technische Universität München and applies that foundation in genomics and data-driven classification to the oncology drug development decisions he supports today.
