Greenhouse Gas
Committed to reducing Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030 from a 2020 baseline, approved by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) in August 2023. Our 2025 combined Scope 1+2 emissions were 87.57 tCO2e
Inclusive Employment
57% of our management team are women, & Women/minorities comprise 51% of our overall workforce.

Implemented the use of reusable plates, bowls, glasses, mugs, and utensils in all kitchens across the facility.

The Future of Sustainability at Champions
Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions
Goal: Reduce combined Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions 42% by 2030, from a 2020 baseline — an SBTi-approved, 1.5°C-aligned target (approved August 2023). We also continue to measure and work to reduce our Scope 3 emissions.
Target: Implement energy-efficient technologies, explore additional renewable energy sources, and reduce emissions from business travel and employee commuting.

Calculated in accordance with the GHG Protocol Corporate Accounting and Reporting Standard for the January 1 – December 31, 2025 reporting period. Champions Oncology also reports its emissions annually to CDP.
Waste Management and Water Conservation
Goal: Reduce waste to landfill by 30% and reduce water consumption by 15% by 2028.
Target: Continue use of reusable supplies in high traffic areas such as kitchens in the facility, order low carbon footprint materials from suppliers for common areas as well as laboratory spaces when possible. Implement water saving technologies and practices in all laboratory and common area spaces, reduce wastewater and continue commitment to wastewater treatment resources.
Commitment to Employee Well-being
Goal: Improve employee well-being and satisfaction through practical, on-site wellness support.
Target: Ongoing wellness programming for employees, including on-site yoga sessions, on-site vaccinations, and financial wellness presentations.
Gender and Minority Equality
Goal: Maintain gender and minority equality reflected in overall employment and in leadership positions.
Target: Continue in mentorship and leadership development programs for women and minorities.
Support Sustainable Innovation
Goal: Grow investment in sustainable innovation to support the development of new sustainable business lines and technologies.
Target: Develop and launch at least three new sustainable business lines or technologies by 2028.
Responsible Supply Chain
Goal: Increase supplier alignment with our sustainability standards, weighted by spend.
Target: Targeting 60% of key suppliers (by spend) to sign our Supplier Code of Conduct or demonstrate an equivalent published code, by 2029.
