Turning Deep Biology Into Strategic Advantage

The most clinically aligned, multi-omic, and functionalized tumor dataset in the world, built for translational discovery, de-risked development, and AI-powered oncology innovation.

This isn’t just data. It’s a foundation for discovery.

Drug discovery is moving faster than ever, but translational research is still bottlenecked by outdated models, sparse public datasets, and underpowered AI pipelines. Champions Oncology has built something fundamentally different, a living, functionalized dataset rooted in real tumors and purpose-built for modern drug development.

From target discovery to predictive modeling, our data fuels the full stack of translational decision-making, helping you build smarter pipelines, train better models, and reach clinical confidence faster.

This isn’t public. It’s not theoretical. It’s real-world tumor biology, captured in its full complexity, structured for computation, and ready to drive your next breakthrough.

Deep Data, Not Big Data

While others boast volume, we deliver depth. Every sample in our ecosystem includes high-resolution, multi-omic and phenotypic variables tied to real clinical history. Our platform eliminates the guesswork of inference-heavy datasets, allowing you to detect true biological signals with clarity and confidence.

Accelerate development with translational tools designed for scale.

Your role demands balancing pipeline breadth with precision, driving confident go/no-go decisions across programs while navigating regulatory pressure, scientific complexity, and resource allocation. But outdated models and shallow data make it harder to move fast without risk. Champions delivers data you can trust at the pace you need.

Develop more accurate translational hypotheses
Match your targets with clinically validated tumor models and deep functional data to uncover mechanisms and biological relevance early.
Reduce clinical attrition rates with predictive tumor models
Use pretreated, metastatic tumor systems that better reflect real-world patient biology to minimize late-stage surprises.
Train internal AI/ML tools on functionalized, high-fidelity data
Leverage large-scale, ground-truth datasets to power model development and refine compound prediction pipelines.
Power multi-program portfolio decisions and accelerate go/no-go timelines

What Makes Champions Data Platforms Unique

The Living Tumor Biobank

Our proprietary bank of over 2,000 low-passage, patient-derived tumor models reflects real-world cancer biology, late-stage, metastatic, pretreated, and clinically annotated. Continuously updated and biologically intact, this is the foundation of our entire data strategy.

Deep Multi-omic Characterization

  • Whole exome sequencing (WES) & RNA-seq
  • Mass spectrometry (DIA) for proteomics and phosphoproteomics
  • Cell surface proteomics
  • Flow cytometry, IHC, Luminex
  • 2,500+ matched clinical response records

Transformative Cell Surface Proteomics

Classical surfacome profiling struggles with noise, contamination, and weak enrichment. Our proprietary ultracentrifugation (UC) protocol isolates plasma membrane fractions with precision, producing richly interpretable surface maps, validated by GO-term enrichment and biological relevance.

Finally, surface data you can trust.

Functionalized Data Layers

FunctionalSeq: High-resolution DrugSeq data from siRNA knockdown experiments in 3D PDX models, paired with survival readouts.

ChemSeq: Chemotype-induced transcriptional signatures mapped to phenotypic outcomes. When combined with FunctionalSeq, it enables mechanism-of-action discovery and chemotype prioritization.

Pioneering the Next Generation of Oncology Data Science

The road to understanding and treating cancer is shifting. We’ve moved beyond Generation 1 which are typically broad, sparse public datasets. Champions is leading Generation 2,  focused  clinically relevant cohorts with deep baseline -omics. And we’re now building Generation 3, dynamic, functionalized datasets that mimic the complexity of tumor biology in motion.

Let’s Build the Future of Cancer Research Together

Take this opportunity to align your platform, pipeline, or portfolio with the dataset built for modern drug discovery.

Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between data licensing and Sandbox collaboration?
Data licensing gives you static, curated datasets for internal use. Sandbox collaborations allow you to co-design experiments using our tumor models, such as running FunctionalSeq or ChemSeq to answer your specific scientific questions.
Can I license a subset of the data, or do I need to commit to the full dataset?
Yes, data can be licensed by cohort, indication, modality, or a combination. Flexibility is built in.
What’s included in Access?
Access enables tumor model exploration, dataset previews, and planning discussions. It’s ideal for identifying what’s available before committing to a license or collaboration.
How do Dedicated FTEs work?
We assign scientists to your project as embedded collaborators, guiding study design, managing deliverables, and ensuring alignment with your program goals.
Do you provide AI tools or models?
We provide the foundational data that AI tools need — not the algorithms themselves. Our clients use the data to train, test, and validate their own AI/ML systems.
Can I get a preview of what data is available in my indication?
Absolutely. Use the "Preview Available Datasets" link to request a summary aligned to your focus area.
Is there pricing on the website?
No. Every engagement is consultatively scoped and priced based on your goals, data needs, and program complexity.
