SW620

Description

SW620 (Colorectal Cancer CDX Model)

The SW620 colorectal cancer line was derived from a lymph node metastasis of colon adenocarcinoma. It is genetically related to SW480, which was established from the same patient’s primary tumor. SW620 represents advanced and metastatic colorectal cancer biology. Its reproducibility makes it valuable for translational studies.

Key Features:

  • Derived from metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma.
  • Sister line to SW480.
  • Represents advanced colorectal cancer.
  • Tumorigenic in xenografts.

Applications:
SW620 is used in advanced colorectal cancer drug discovery. Researchers apply it in biomarker and resistance mechanism studies. It is often used alongside SW480 to study tumor progression. Its metastatic biology makes it valuable for translational CRC pipelines.
