SNU-5

Description

SNU-5 (Gastric Cancer CDX Model)

The SNU-5 gastric cancer cell line was established from a patient with poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma. It represents advanced stomach cancer biology. SNU-5 is widely applied in preclinical drug testing and biomarker research. Its reproducible growth makes it a useful gastric cancer research tool.

Key Features:

  • Derived from poorly differentiated gastric carcinoma.
  • Represents aggressive stomach cancer.
  • Epithelial morphology.
  • Tumorigenic in xenografts.

Applications:
SNU-5 is used to evaluate novel therapies for gastric cancer. Researchers apply it in biomarker discovery and resistance mechanism studies. It supports screening of targeted agents in stomach cancer. Its reproducibility ensures reliability in translational pipelines.
