SK-UT-1

Description

SK-UT-1 (Uterine Cancer CDX Model)

The SK-UT-1 line was derived from a uterine leiomyosarcoma. It represents a rare and aggressive form of uterine cancer. SK-UT-1 has been applied in preclinical sarcoma and gynecologic oncology research. Its reproducibility supports translational rare tumor studies.

Key Features:

  • Derived from uterine leiomyosarcoma.
  • Aggressive sarcoma phenotype.
  • Tumorigenic in xenografts.
  • Rare tumor biology.

Applications:
SK-UT-1 is used in rare tumor drug discovery, particularly in leiomyosarcoma. Researchers apply it in biomarker development and targeted therapy studies. It supports translational pipelines for gynecologic oncology. Its rarity makes it valuable for focused drug testing.
