Receptor Occupancy Assessment

Flow Cytometry is a powerful technique in the assessment of therapeutic antibodies in preclinical and clinical trial settings. 

Historically, Receptor Occupancy assays have been developed to better understand the binding of a therapeutic antibody in vivo (or in situ) to its target receptor both qualitatively and quantitatively.

Flow cytometry-based Receptor Occupancy can be used to determine saturation at specific time points after dosing to better understand PK/PD relationships, receptor immunomodulation, and therapeutic activity.
