Humanized Models
Humanized Mouse models are models that support the engraftment of many functional components of the human immune system. These mouse models have various human immune cells engrafted and can be used to evaluate therapeutic candidates in a variety of human diseases.
Champions' Humanized Mouse model platform, the ImmunoGraft®, combines Champions TumorGraft® PDX and CDX models and humanized immune system mice, created by inoculating human hematopoietic cells into immunodeficient mice.
The result is an innovative tool for evaluating efficacy and mechanisms of action in a variety of cancer therapeutics that modulate human immunity, such as checkpoint inhibitors, monoclonal antibodies, therapeutic cancer vaccines, and cytokine-based therapies.
